Kathryn D’Amanda

Kathy worked as an art director and designer at the Los Angeles firm of White+Associates before forming D’A Design in 1985. She partnered in the Rochester, NY design and advertising firm of Massimilian+D’Amanda in 1997, which evolved into MillRace Design Associates in 2001. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Boston University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and performed additional study at Boston University School for the Arts and at RIT.

Her work has been recognized by Communications Arts magazine, the American Museum Awards, the Print Regional Design Annual, the Rochester Society of Communications Arts, the Addy awards, the Art Director’s Club of Los Angeles, Creativity, Graphic Design USA/DESI, The West Coast Show, Best in the West, the National Restaurant Association, and the Rochester Society of Printing House Craftsmen.

Kathy was a 1998 recipient of the Rochester Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” awards. She has served on numerous community boards, and currently serves as on the Memorial Art Gallery’s Board of Managers and on the High Falls Business Improvement District board of directors.
